Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an RMF Cybersecurity Specialist to support federal DoD environments. The role is on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA, focusing on RMF activities, authorization, and ongoing security monitoring to safeguard critical government systems.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in RMF and an active TS/SCI clearance, with hands-on experience using eMASS, ACAS/Nessus, and implementing NIST controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in RMF, cybersecurity compliance, information assurance, or security authorization in DoD/federal environments.
• Hands-on with NIST RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, DoD RMF, eMASS, ACAS/Nessus, STIGs.
• Strong RMF package documentation and risk management knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; active DoD 8570/8140 certs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities across the system lifecycle: categorization, control implementation, authorization, continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation: SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, risk assessment reports.
• Assess compliance with NIST RMF standards and STIG requirements.
• Support ATO, ATC, reauthorization, vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, audits.
• Utilize eMASS, ACAS/Nessus and related tools to monitor posture and remediation.
