Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking an IT Security Specialist to provide cybersecurity, RMF, and information assurance support for NAVSEA PMS 340. The role ensures DoD/NIST compliance across development, acquisition, and sustainment in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities include RMF package development, security control assessments, vulnerability analysis with ACAS/Nmap, and coordinating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and >5 years cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with RMF, A&A processes, and DoD IT system validation.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• Experience using eMASS.
• Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop RMF accreditation packages and documentation for PMS 340 systems.
• Review SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, and risk assessments.
• Conduct security control assessments per NIST CNSSI and DoD RMF guidance.
• Perform vulnerability analysis using ACAS, SCAP, and Nmap.
• Support Cybersecurity T&E phases and advisories.
• Assist system accreditation processes.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities with NAVSEA/NSW/SOF partners.
• Prepare cybersecurity reports and briefs for program decisions.
