Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking an IT Security Specialist to provide cybersecurity, information assurance, and RMF support for NAVSEA PMS 340 programs in Alexandria, VA. The role ensures systems comply with DoD/NAVSEA/NIST requirements across development and sustainment, including evaluating risk and coordinating with government stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, and RMF/A&A proficiency, with DoD IT system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
Greater than 5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
Experience with RMF, A&A processes, and cybersecurity validation of DoD IT systems.

Responsibilities

Support RMF package development and documentation for PMS 340 systems.
Review and update SSPs, POA&Ms, and risk assessments.
Conduct security control assessments per NIST SP 800-53, DoD RMF guidance.
Perform vulnerability analysis using ACAS, SCAP, and Nmap for PMS 340 systems.
Support Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation phases and engineering support across NAVSEA programs.
