Job summary

DT Professional Services seeks an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to support RMF lifecycle, implement NIST SP 800-53 controls, and develop SSPs and authorization packages. The role involves translating complex security requirements for technical and non-technical stakeholders and supporting governance and risk activities.

The ideal candidate holds an Active Secret clearance, a relevant Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of DoD cyber security experience, and Security+ or higher, with

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cyber Security or Cyber Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of DoD Cyber Security experience.
• Security+ certification or higher.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or federal information systems through the RMF lifecycle.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 implementation.
• Experience with SSP development, continuous monitoring, POA&Ms management, and authorization package preparation.
• Experience evaluating security controls and supporting ATO efforts.
• Experience working cross-functionally with ISSOs, ISSMs, engineering, infrastructure, and program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF lifecycle activities and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Manage Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Prepare and maintain authorization packages.
• Evaluate security controls and support ATO efforts.
• Support eMASS-related RMF activities.
• Develop cybersecurity assessments and documentation.
• Coordinate with ISSOs, ISSMs, engineering, and program management.
