Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries in the United States seeks an RMF Cybersecurity Analyst to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to AFRL systems and networks. You’ll collaborate with security professionals to implement defenses and stay current on DoD security posture.

You will conduct assessments, analyze threat intelligence, and develop controls, training, and RMF paperwork updates, leveraging ACAS scanning, NIST/ISO frameworks, and strong communication to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems security threat analysis, preferably in a DoD environment.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO.
• Experience with threat intelligence tools and techniques, including malware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance or above
• On the job training to test and obtain ACAS Scans certificaiton.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments of the systems and networks to identify potential security threats
• Analyze threat intelligence data to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement strategies to protect against cyberattacks, malware, and other security threats
• Collaborate with other security professionals to design and implement security controls, processes, and procedures
• Participate in security incident response activities and investigations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and advise management on their potential impact on the DoD's security posture
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate DoD personnel on security best practices
• Update Risk Management Framework paperwork in coordination with change manager, ISSM, and Operation teams
