Job summary

AERMOR is seeking an experienced ISSE to support the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). The role emphasizes RMF, A&A, and defense cybersecurity documentation for Navy information systems, with hands-on vulnerability assessment and continuous monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have DoD/Navy RMF experience, artifact development, and collaboration with government personnel to maintain authorization and posture in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or managerial discipline.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent).
• 5+ years in cybersecurity/engineering/A&A/RMF or related field; >7 years if no bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of RMF and DoD/DoN documentation requirements.
• Hands-on experience with A&A activities and security authorization packages.
• Experience developing RMF artifacts (POA&Ms, risk assessments, security plans).
• Familiarity with IA/INFOSEC concepts and DoD/Navy cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF and A&A activities for Navy information systems.
• Develop and maintain Navy Security Authorization Packages and documentation.
• Create RMF artifacts (POA&Ms, risk assessments, security plans).
• Assess security controls and support continuous monitoring.
• Maintain RMF documentation in eMASS and keep packages current.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and support remediation and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and DoD/DoN requirements.
• Collaborate with system admins and stakeholders to resolve findings.
