Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Planner in Tracy, CA to develop maintenance plans, screen APM work orders, and estimate labor and material needs for proactive maintenance. You will collaborate with maintenance management, technicians, and vendors to plan, coordinate and schedule maintenance during downtime, ensuring spare parts are ordered and stocked.

You will drive reliability initiatives, collect engineering drawings, and optimize system performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 1+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Screen work orders and analyze scope requirements to schedule maintenance activities based on available resources, work criticality, and maintenance windows.
• Perform equipment audits to document job requirements, order spare parts for facility and material handling equipment, and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Plan reliability improvement projects and collect engineering drawings and technical specifications to maximize system efficiency and performance.
• Drive proactive maintenance programs that achieve 85% planned work targets while ensuring all activities derive from APM and close accurately in Amazon's maintenance virtuous cycle.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
