Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Kansas City is seeking an entry-level RME Operator to support reliability maintenance. No prior electrical or mechanical experience is required; you’ll learn preventive maintenance, manage work orders, and support site operations.

You’ll work with experienced technicians, gain foundational skills, and have potential progression into the MRA program as automation grows across our sites.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
• GED or HS diploma required; commitment to safety and quality in routine maintenance.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks.
• Replace spare parts following standard operating procedures.
• Use laptops/tablets to manage work orders and documentation.
• Use basic workshop tools.
• Work alongside experienced RME technicians to develop technical knowledge.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with the Client and Operations Maintenance team.
