Job summary

JLL in Kent, WA is seeking an RME Operator to support the operation of high-performance manufacturing systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and troubleshoot robotics and conveyance systems.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance from job plans, read technical manuals, and participate in continuous improvement to boost reliability. The role requires flexibility, weekend shifts, and training enrollment; benefits include 401(k),

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree is preferred, or 1+ years of RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items is required.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and blueprints is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while following safety regulations.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment per plans and manuals.
• Troubleshoot robotics and robotic work cells to maintain availability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in material handling components to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with journey workers and coordinate with upstream/downstream operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement to drive equipment reliability and efficiency.
