Job summary

Amazon is expanding its Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team with the RMEO role. You will learn to maintain and repair conveyance, material handling equipment, and site-specific tech, collaborating with the technical team to keep system uptime through proactive maintenance and problem-solving.

The focus is on learning basic maintenance activities across equipment, including inspections, jam clearance, parts replacement, and testing, while following safety guidelines and site

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Amazon Blue Badge employment experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of technical problem-solving experience.
• Experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks on a variety of equipment.
• Replace spare parts on equipment following standard operating procedures (site dependent).
• Use a laptop/tablet for managing work orders.
• Use basic workshop tools.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, bend, lift, stretch, and reach.
