Job summary

CBRE is expanding its Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) organization with an entry level position: the RME Operator (RMEO). This role requires no prior electrical or mechanical experience and starts a technical career while supporting daily maintenance activities.

You will learn preventive maintenance, document work orders, use laptops, and work with experienced RME technicians to build foundational skills. A pathway to the Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship awaits top performers.

Qualifications

Job Purpose

Reliability Maintenance Engineering(RME) teams are expanding with a new opportunity: RME Operator(RMEO). The RMEOperator role is a structured entry point into the RME organization designedfor individuals who are interested in beginning a technical career. What You’ll Do

• Basic math skills
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to follow instructions and solve problems in routine maintenance and operational situations while maintaining safety compliance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, and climbing stairs or ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation

PreferredQualifications

• Technical education in a related field
• 1+ year of experience working in a distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment
• 1+ years of experience with material handling and conveyance systems
• 1+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

AssessmentProcess

Applicants will be asked to completea basic math assessment covering foundational arithmetic skills, includingaddition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and order ofoperations. No advanced math knowledge is required. It is designed toensure readiness and support long-term success within the RME pathway.
