  • Experience using ERP and warehouse management systems with barcode scanners is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process returned products and repair materials.
  • Verify serial numbers and shipping documentation; stage items for evaluation or shipment.
  • Perform inventory transactions in ERP and warehouse management systems.
  • Maintain repair records and shipping logs; ensure accuracy of documentation and labeling.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow and inventory accuracy.

Position Summary

The Repair Center Technician - General is responsible for supporting Repair Center operations through material handling, RMA processing, inventory transactions, equipment movement, shipping and receiving, operational documentation, and workflow coordination.

Working under the direction of the Repair Center Lead and Supervisor, this position ensures efficient movement of materials throughout the Repair Center while maintaining accurate records, inventory integrity, and compliance with operational procedures. The Technician plays a critical role in supporting repair operations by ensuring products, components, and materials are processed accurately and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
RMA & Material Operations
  • Receive, inspect, unpack, identify, label, and process returned products and repair materials.
  • Verify serial numbers, product information, shipping documentation, and repair records.
  • Stage equipment for engineering evaluation, repair activities, testing, storage, or shipment.
  • Package repaired equipment for outbound shipment following company standards.
  • Perform inventory transactions within ERP and warehouse management systems.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization.
  • Organize parts, components, pallets, containers, and repair materials.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, scanning, and documentation.
  • Support shipping, receiving, packaging, freight preparation, and warehouse logistics.
Operational Administration
  • Maintain accurate repair records, inventory documentation, shipping logs, and operational documentation.
  • Perform barcode scanning, system updates, and data entry using ERP and business systems.
  • Assist with operational reporting and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of standardized work procedures and Lean initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-training across Repair Center operational functions.
  • Assist Leads and Supervisors with special operational projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, manufacturing, repair operations, or RMA processing is preferred.
  • Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems, barcode scanners, and inventory software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to accurately perform inventory transactions and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment; forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment in accordance with company safety requirements.

Work Location and Status:
  • Contract role based on-site role out of our Houston, TX location.

Compensation:
  • Compensation commensurate with experience.

For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated hourly rate for this role is between $20 - $28 per hour. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The base salary offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, location, or other factors related to the role.
