Job summary

The Rivers - Cook role at Transforming Age in Burnsville, MN welcomes a warm, experienced cook to prepare meals that meet diverse dietary needs for our residents in a senior living community. You will maintain an orderly kitchen, ensure food safety and sanitary handling, and assist with hiring, orientation, training, and evaluation of kitchen staff.

Occasional Saturday/Sunday shifts are required, with a benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef/Kitchen Manager in a senior living community is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to prepare therapeutic/modified diets.
• Background check completion may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals that meet dietary needs.
• Maintain an orderly kitchen.
• Ensure kitchen food safety and sanitary handling.
• Assist with hiring, orientation, training, and evaluation of kitchen staff.
• Assist supervising utility and FOH staff as needed.
