Cooper Consolidated, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work outdoors along the river system. You will operate excavators, payloaders, bulldozers, and related machinery, following safety rules and reporting any issues to supervisors.

The role requires at least 6 months of industrial experience, good communication, and the ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends when needed. A strong safety record is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience operating heavy equipment beyond the basics welcomed.
• Thorough knowledge of safety precautions for heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs, and work extended hours.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy equipment listed (excavators, payloaders, bulldozers, etc.).
• Inspect equipment before use and report defects to maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures per OSHA and company guidelines.
• Communicate with flaggers and supervisory staff; maintain logs.
• Assist with rigging, dock/barge tasks and routine maintenance.
