Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Riverboat Superintendent in Lake Charles, LA to support the safe operation and maintenance of the riverboat vessel and related systems. The role focuses on life safety, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day technical leadership.

The position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, experience in marine/facilities maintenance, and the ability to coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine, facilities, or maintenance operations.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.
• Proficiency with standard office and maintenance documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Riverboat Superintendent in safe, reliable vessel operation and maintenance.
• Assist with life safety, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to marine personnel.
• Coordinate work to minimize disruption to guests and property operations.
• Assist with vendor coordination and project documentation.
• Contribute to capital improvements and operational projects.
