Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking an Operations Project Manager (NH-04) in West Alton, MO to direct complex river and public lands programs. You will plan, assign, and review work across subordinate staff and contractors, ensuring safe, efficient operation of dams, locks, and related facilities.

The role requires managing budgets, coordinating maintenance, and supervising a broad Natural Resource program, with emphasis on leadership and policy adherence within the Inland Marine

Qualifications

Experience overseeing operations and maintenance plans for navigation and natural resources.
Ability to manage budgets and reporting for large programs.
Proven supervisory or manager-level experience.
Experience directing staff and contractors in complex projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee complex programs and functions for infrastructure and public lands in the Rivers Project.
Manage missions including navigation, flood risk management, environment, and recreation.
Plan, assign, direct, and review work by supervisors, employees, and contractors.
Coordinate maintenance for dams, locks, levees, and related facilities.
Ensure safe, efficient operation of locks and dams per IMTS guidance.
Supervise the Natural Resource program and fiscal management.
Oversee the Service Base Facility and related fleet and facilities.
