Support the division of Athletics and Recreation with its execution of Ritchie Center event operations.
Assistin the game operations and game day production for varsity athletics.
Serve as a guest services member during Ritchie Center events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Provide excellent customer service for all Ritchie Center participants and customers.
Recognize and respond effectively and efficiently to emergencies.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
Communicate clearly and effectively to participants, customers, and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
Current DU undergraduate or graduate student enrolled for the 2026-2027academic year, or recent college graduate with a related degree.
Work evenings, nights, weekends, and other non-traditional hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Previousexperience working in event operations, sports management, or customer service.
Knowledge of NCAA athletics and familiarity with sports such as hockey, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to stay organized, multitask, and remain calm in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable using basic technology (e.g., radios, ticketing scanners, scoreboards, orbasicA/V equipment).
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred butnotrequired).
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Be able to lift 20 pounds.

Work is primarily conducted on-site at the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports & Wellness and its surrounding facilities.
Physical activity is required, including standing for extended periods, walking long distances, lifting up to 20 lbs, and assisting with event set-up and tear-down.
