Job summary

Capstone Investment Advisors is offering a 10-week Summer Risk Tech Internship to provide hands-on exposure to our Risk Tech team and broader working environment. Interns will assist with daily activities while delivering a defined project addressing a real business need.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or hold a quantitative degree, demonstrate strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C, and can explain technical ideas clearly. Ownership of problems from research to implementation is valued.

Qualifications

• Studying towards or holding a degree in a quantitative subject (Comp Sci, Maths, Engineering, Physics or similar), or equivalent experience
• Strong programming ability in Python, Java or C, demonstrated through projects or work experience
• Able to explain technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Takes ownership of problems, from research to design and implementation

Responsibilities

• Support the Risk Tech team in day-to-day activities during the ten-week program
• Work on a defined project addressing a relevant business need
• Gain exposure to risk measurement and management across asset classes and strategies
