OTR Solutions is seeking a Risk Specialist to oversee daily risk review and onboarding for prospective clients in the transportation finance space. You will assess risk and financial integrity, coordinate with Sales Underwriting and other teams to ensure compliant onboarding, and help manage data and documentation in our systems.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to handle difficult conversations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet daily quotas for reviewing new trucking company or other prospective client applications.
• Perform risk analysis using standard Underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Maintain and update all preliminary client data and files using a proprietary system.
• Communicate with outside vendors like banks and other finance companies.
• Assist in transitioning new clients from Leads to Clients within our system.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Operations and other departments.
• Prepare a UCC filing for each client to secure and validate contracts.
• Support team with active buyouts by verifying pay status on open receivables.

As a Risk Specialist, you will be handling daily operational tasks for the Sales Underwriting department. You will responsible for reviewing all potential new clients for OTR. You will review risk and evaluate financial integrity associated with potential clients. You will also coordinate with the sales department to ensure a successful and compliant onboarding process.

Responsibilities:

• Meet daily quotas for reviewing new trucking company or other prospective client applications

• Support the team with any active buyouts with a competitor by verifying pay status on all open receivables
