Job summary

Chicago, Illinois based Lockton Companies is offering a Risk Solutions Internship. The 10-week program provides exposure to insurance industry facets from a broker perspective, with interns embedded in Risk Solutions teams and contributing to real client work.

Interns will partner with account teams, participate in carrier visits and client presentations, and work toward enhancing client satisfaction while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Status as a currently enrolled student, scheduled to graduate Spring 2028 or Fall/Winter 2027
• Strong customer service, communication, and project management skills
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Partnering with Lockton account teams on key initiatives and daily servicing projects related to new and renewal business
• Participating in off-site carrier visits and client presentations when available
• Making a positive contribution to client satisfaction and striving to improve service to the clients
• Communicating in a professional manner to contribute to a cohesive and pleasant work environment
• Protecting the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position
