Job summary

Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of Lockton Companies, offers a Summer Intern position in Chicago 2027. Interns engage across client relations, technical service, and project management in a hands-on rotational program.

You'll support Brokers, prepare submissions, manage documents, and collaborate across departments to deliver best-in-class service while gaining industry exposure and culture immersion.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational program to learn reinsurance basics.
• Immerse in Lockton Re culture and support Brokers.
• Assist in production, design, analysis, and administration of reinsurance programs.
• Assist in preparing pre-renewal documents and underwriting submissions.
• Organize and track quotations and maintain files.
• Coordinate with claims, accounting, and contract teams to ensure service levels.
• Collaborate with Compliance to follow guidelines.
• Develop and present a long-term project to the Broking team.
