• Familiarity with risk management guidelines such as ISO 31000, COSO, AACE, and PMI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver quantitative risk analysis workshops in collaboration with stakeholders
• Engage with risk owners to develop realistic risk impact assessments
• Develop a comprehensive risk register and risk profile for projects
• Create stress test scenarios for extreme risk events and present findings
• Support the risk management team with training and updates on processes
• Utilize business development skills to attract new clients and repeat projects

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Manager (Pharmaceutical Construction) to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This role will lead risk management efforts across pharmaceutical construction projects, with a particular emphasis on quantitative risk analysis and scenario planning. The position partners closely with project stakeholders and risk owners to assess exposures, shape realistic mitigation strategies, and strengthen project decision-making. It also supports the broader risk team through process updates, training, and the advancement of repeat business through trusted client relationships.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $175,000 annually

Qualifications

• PMI, RMP, IRM, or APM certification, or in progress
• Familiarity with risk management tools like Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, and SafranRisk
• Working knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO, AACE, and PMI risk management guidelines
• Strong analytical and strategic leadership skills
