Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk modelling and management across complex projects. You will prepare risk analyses, develop risk registers and deliver workshops with stakeholders.

The role requires extensive experience in high tech, pharma, data centres, infrastructure, or oil and gas, with PMI/RMP/IRM/APM certification or active path to certification. Interviews conducted in person or virtually.

Qualifications

  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Have experience in delivering a Risk Management Service with a focus on Risk Modelling.
  • Certification: PMI, RMP, IRM, or APM (or on path to complete).
  • 12+ years in High Tech, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Infrastructure or Oil & Gas industries.
  • Experience with industry risk management tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, SafranRisk) and familiarity with ARM, Xactium, RiskPredict; and with Primavera P6/Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO, AACE and PMI Risk Management guidelines.
  • Thrive on balancing analytical and strategic leadership approaches.
  • Detail oriented and quality focused.
  • Enjoy a dynamic environment with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver QRA workshops with stakeholders to review cost, schedule and risk information.
  • Engage risk owners to develop realistic impact assessments and cost/schedule mitigation.
  • Develop a comprehensive risk register and risk profile for the project.
  • Develop stress test scenarios on extreme risk events and present outputs to the team.
  • Support risk management professionals with R&O training and updates.
  • Use business development skills to engage new clients and repeat projects.

The Opportunity
In this role you will:
  • Prepare and deliver QRA workshops by collaborating closely with stakeholders to review project cost, schedule and risk information
  • Engage with risk owners to develop realistic risk impact assessments, seeking feedback from key subject matter experts’ to ensure any identified risks and mitigation efforts are accurately costed and scheduled
  • Develop a comprehensive risk register and risk profile for the project
  • Develop stress test scenarios on extreme risk events, and using expert risk analysis, present and deliver outputs to the wider team
  • Support the wider team of risk management professionals by providing R&O training and updates on risk processes as required
  • Use your business development skills to engage new clients as well as repeat projects with existing clients

  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a relevant discipline
