Position Title: Risk Management Specialist
Location: UKH Olathe Pavilion Main Campus
Position Summary / Career Interest: The Risk Management Specialist oversees the event management system for the Health System-Kansas City Division. The assistant director manages and maintains the electronic event management system. Participate in the development, implementation, and education of event management policies. Serve as a primary contact for the event management system. Onboard new leaders to the event management system. This position is also responsible for ensuring event management data is available to leaders to assist in reducing risk and quality improvement activities. As a member of the clinical risk management team, the risk management specialist is engaged in day-to-day risk management operations, including risk mitigation, investigations, and responding to safety events. The Risk Management Specialist is a member of the Clinical Risk Management department.
