Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to partner with the administrative leadership team and department management to provide continual risk assessment, develop policies and procedures, conduct investigations, and support compliance with federal and state requirements related to patient complaints and HIPAA audits.

Responsibilities

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Risk Management Specialist to join our Team!JOB SUMMARY: Will be responsible for partnering with the administrative leadership team and department management teams to provide continual risk assessment; participate in development of comprehensive policies and procedures, compliance training, protocols; conducting internal investigations. Will perform data collection, data analysis and monitoring of Occurrence Reports (incidents) for the hospital and all satellite locations; conduct audits based off trending occurrence events or other potential risks. Will be responsible for helping to meet all federal and state requirements as it pertains to patient complaints. Will assist in performing and maintaining HIPAA audits. Will be responsible for collaborating with the Medical Directors in preparing timelines and gathering any other requested information for Peer Review Committee; conduct patient tracers to identify process improvements; other job duties as assigned.BENEFITS:Taking care for our community starts with taking care of our own team. Participates in policy, procedure, and process review, correction, and development.2. Perform internal compliance investigations and audits throughout the hospital campuses as well as affiliate locations, including compiling detailed reports with recommendations to the Compliance Officer and management.3. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Compliance and/or the Chief Compliance Officer from time to time.4.
