Job summary

Citadel seeks a Staff Developer and Risk Manager Combination (RN) to lead risk management, quality assurance, and mitigation programs in Florida facilities. You will develop policies, educate teams, and collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

The role includes implementing incident reporting systems, analyzing trends, and guiding corrective actions. On-site support will be provided during surveys, with remote options as determined by leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida required.
• Must have training or be enrolled in Risk Management curriculum for Florida skilled nursing facilities.
• Knowledge of office equipment, accounting, and regulatory guidelines for long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Performance Improvement policies and tools.
• Educate facility teams on Risk Management concepts through ongoing programs.
• Analyze QA and PI trends and prioritize responses to anomalies.
• Create and maintain reporting, tracking, and trending for incidents and reportable events.
• Identify root causes and provide preventative strategies for risk events.
• Support surveys by providing on-site or remote assistance to leadership as needed.
• Interpret deficiencies and guide responses to risk, abuse, and quality issues.
• Monitor grievance trends and patient satisfaction data to inform actions.
• Collaborate with leadership and Legal Counsel during investigations and remedial efforts.
• Develop solutions at facility, region, and company levels to improve risk responses.
