Allan Myers Inc. is seeking student support for the Risk Management and Claims team in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will assist with the administration, tracking, and processing of insurance claims on assignments typically lasting 3–6 months, exposing you to a large heavy civil construction project.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Safety Management, Occupational safety or another safety related degree
• Must be a team player and possess a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change.

Aufgaben

• Support the Risk Management and Claims team in the administration, tracking, and processing of insurance claims and risk-related activities.
• Process reported General Liability and Auto incidents through the claims management system
• Assist with the management of minor General Liability and Auto claims inventory
• Enter and document new claims received through various reporting channels
• Process self-reported claims and coordinate submission to insurance carriers
• Support claim cost allocations and project chargebacks through the claims system
• Scan, organize, and maintain claims department records and documentation
• Run reports and assist with presentations and data analysis
• Support subrogation and recovery efforts as assigned
• Provide claim status updates and communicate with internal stakeholders
• Assist with additional risk management projects and departmental initiatives as needed

Typical Duties

• Students will support the Risk Management and Claims team in the administration, tracking, and processing of insurance claims and risk-related activities.
• Processing reported General Liability and Auto incidents through the claims management system
• Assisting with the management of minor General Liability and Auto claims inventory
• Entering and documenting new claims received through various reporting channels
• Processing self-reported claims and coordinating submission to insurance carriers
• Supporting claim cost allocations and project chargebacks through the claims system
• Scanning, organizing, and maintaining claims department records and documentation
• Running reports and assisting with presentations and data analysis
• Supporting subrogation and recovery efforts as assigned
• Providing claim status updates and communicating with internal stakeholders
• Assisting with additional risk management projects and departmental initiatives as needed
