Job summary

Sandy Pines is a 149-bed Residential Psychiatric Facility serving children and adolescents ages 5 to 17, located in South Florida near Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The Risk Coordinator position is full time and exempt, reporting to the Director of Risk Management / Performance Improvement.

Under supervision, you will guide risk reduction, incident reporting, training, and compliance to maintain accreditation with JC and other regulators, while ensuring confidentiality and safety protocols are

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 1-2 years experience with children/adolescents preferred.
  • Three years clinical experience in a psychiatric in-patient facility.

Sandy Pines is seeking a dynamic and talented Risk Coordinator! This is Full Time - Exempt Position. Sandy Pines is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson Sate Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. Job description

Under the supervision of the Director of Risk Management / Performance Improvement provides guidance to reduce operational risk and provide guidance and direction to keep the facility accredited within the guidelines of JC and other regulatory agencies.

  • Complies with safety and security policies and procedures, including those regarding incidents and injuries.
  • Understands and complies with the intent of the Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Ensures appropriate and timely reporting of occurrences; enters incidents into the Midas Database.
  • Demonstrates the necessary computer skills to perform reporting, documentation and day to day duties
Qualifications
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's preferred along with one to two years experience with children and adolescents preferred. Previous behavioral health experience would be a plus. Must be organized and detail oriented and have excellent computer (above average working knowledge of Microsoft office) and customer service experience
  • Three years clinical experience in a psychiatric in‑patient facility with knowledge of high- risk areas.
