Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; industry experience preferred.
• Experience in risk management, governance, or risk oversight.
• Credit or lending knowledge within a Commercial or Banking environment.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to present to senior leadership and executives.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce and Tableau preferred.
• Proven track record building governance or oversight processes.
• Strong data analysis and narrative development skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support governance activities for the Commercial lending portfolio, including delinquency trends and forecasting.
• Contribute analysis and commentary for risk forums and governance reporting.
• Review risk acceptance requests for Middle Market and other Commercial lending activities.
• Manage the Middle Market Financial Sponsor review process with documentation and forums.
• Lead an annual Financial Sponsor portfolio review with dashboards and insights.
• Assist in monthly and periodic business reviews for the portfolio.
• Synthesize information into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Coordinate regulatory exams, internal audits, and control reviews as a liaison.
• Track remediation of findings and action plans with partners.
• Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, operations, and finance to improve governance processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve oversight frameworks and reporting.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory expectations and industry trends.
