Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Risk & Insurance Manager for Development and Construction at the Dallas Regional Office. This hybrid role focuses on administering builder’s risk and construction liability programs, reviewing contracts for insurance and bonding requirements, and managing related claims.

You will collaborate with Development, Construction, Legal, Finance, lenders, brokers, and carriers to protect assets and optimize risk, while supporting project closings and program cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in construction risk management or related field.
• Experience administering builder’s risk programs for construction projects.
• Experience with construction liability programs and claims management.
• Experience administering subcontractor default insurance programs.

Responsibilities

• Supports placement, administration, and renewal of builder’s risk programs.
• Manages project-specific builder’s risk programs throughout development lifecycle.
• Assists with builder’s risk claims through investigation and resolution.
• Supports construction liability programs, including coverage terms and pricing.
• Manages construction liability claims from notice through settlement and recovery.
• Administers subcontractor default insurance program including enrollment and claims.
• Reviews loan and construction documents for insurance and bonding provisions.
• Communicates insurance requirements to lenders, investors, and stakeholders.
• Analyzes program costs, premiums, and loss trends to improve coverage.
