Job summary

FHLB Des Moines is seeking an Enterprise Risk Intern to join the Risk Management team. You will participate in the implementation of systems, reporting and data migration analyses, supporting risk identification and monitoring within a collaborative environment.

You will assist with assurance testing, reviewing SOX 404 processes in line with COSO 2013, and take on other duties as assigned while developing strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Seeking a candidate pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Business Management.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation of new systems, enhancements, reporting and data migration analysis.
• Assist in risk identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, and reporting across the Bank.
• Assist with assurance testing and control gap identification and remediation.
• Review and enhance SOX 404 processes to align with COSO 2013 internal control framework.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
