Job summary

Partner Company is seeking an experienced payment risk professional to own risk and compliance for subscription-based SaaS products across international markets. The role sits in a fully remote environment across Europe with a hybrid option in Lausanne.

You will design a consistent risk framework covering Europe, the United States, and future expansion markets, and work at the intersection of payments, data, legal, and product teams to keep checkout secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payment risk.
• Strong US payment market expertise and chargeback management.
• Experience with PayPal disputes is required.
• Knowledge of card network compliance (Visa/Mastercard).
• Bilingual in French and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own payment risk and compliance for SaaS products in international markets.
• Design and implement a risk framework across Europe, US, and expansion markets.
• Prevent fraud, manage disputes, ensure card network and PSP compliance.
• Optimize anti-fraud tools, define market-specific 3DS strategies, manage chargebacks.
• Collaborate with PSPs and internal teams to keep merchant accounts under thresholds and ensure compliant checkout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prevent fraud, manage disputes, and maintain compliance with card network and payment service provider requirements.
• Optimize anti-fraud tools and rules, define market-specific 3DS strategies, and manage chargeback prevention.
• Partner with PSPs and internal teams to keep merchant accounts within monitoring thresholds and ensure compliant checkout experiences.

What We're Looking For:

• Ideally five years of experience in payment risk, with strong US payment market expertise and chargeback management.
• Hands-on experience with PayPal disputes, fraud prevention, and Visa/Mastercard compliance.
• Fluent French and strong English; experience building or monitoring AI agents is an advantage.
• Fully remote work across Europe or a hybrid arrangement in Lausanne.
