Job summary

Osborn Family Health Center in Camden, NJ is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee the facility's risk and claims management functions. You will implement the Risk Management Program, monitor incidents, and drive corrective actions in partnership with staff and leadership.

Expected to lead risk reduction efforts, conduct quarterly assessments, and report progress to the Board. The role requires coordination across departments to minimize injuries, losses, and reputational risk for the center.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health care management, nursing or administration is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred for the role.
• 3–5 years of related experience in risk or claims management.

Responsibilities

• Develops, initiates, maintains the Risk Management Program and Plan.
• Oversees risk management investigations, training, and corrective actions.
• Review incident reports, analyze frequency and trends of incidents.
• Coordinate analysis of serious incidents or undesirable patterns.
• Assist with risk reduction strategy development and monitoring.
• Annually report to the Board on risk management activities.
• Oversee claims and insurance management; handle litigation holds.
