Job summary

NLACRC in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Risk Assessment Supervisor to plan, coordinate and direct the Risk Assessment program.

The role involves supervising staff, representing the agency at statewide meetings, and developing risk management plans to ensure DDS regulatory compliance. A Bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience is required; a Master’s may substitute for three years. A CA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities, DDS regulations, Lanterman Act, service standards.
• Skills in risk assessment, investigation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Represent NLACRC at quarterly statewide Risk Management meetings.
• Facilitate internal RMAP meetings to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop a Risk Management & Mitigation Plan per DDS requirements.
• Monitor timely completion of special incident reports and 30‑day outcomes.
• Coordinate with licensing, protective services, and law enforcement.
• Supervise SIR follow-up and RA program documentation; identify trends.
• Train and evaluate assigned staff; provide staff development.
