Information security and Data Privacy are at the core of Anywhere. Your work will help identify, protect, and govern sensitive data for our business areas as well as internal and external customers. The Data Privacy and Compliance Analyst is responsible for assessing applications, policies, procedures, and business operations to ensure compliance with privacy requirements and government regulations for the protection of sensitive information. Our analysts manage data, regulatory, and operational risks related to sensitive and critical information assets, monitor business processes, and ensure the use of applications/databases meets privacy and security standards. What you will be doing?

  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, providing guidance as needed.
  • Analyze applicable global and state privacy laws, regulations, and guidance, addressing any gaps proactively.
  • Manage the data privacy inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data, applications, suppliers, and business processes.
  • Interpret regulations and identify control measures to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance to internal customers on understanding regulatory standards and their impact on the business.
  • Lead and participate in enterprise-level projects, self-assessments, and audits.
  • Support the implementation of automation tools to streamline privacy programs, working with Data Privacy leaders to improve policies and processes.
  • Develop and report on KRIs, KPIs, and other risk indicators to highlight privacy risks and trends.
  • Promote a Data Privacy culture and awareness across the company, participating in industry forums and sharing lessons learned.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • Experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), either in vendor vetting or response management.
  • Experience managing and supporting projects of various sizes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading or supporting audits (Operational, IT, SOX), understanding what auditors look for.
  • Professional certifications in Data Privacy, IT/IS, Risk Management, or willingness to obtain certifications like CIPP/US, CISA preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Experience with GRC tools, Data Privacy platforms, and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, NY DFS, CPRA, PCI DSS, and other data privacy regulations.

Reports to the Global Data Privacy Senior Manager.
