Job summary

Grant Thornton’s Los Angeles office is seeking a Risk Advisory Intern to support enterprise risk, internal controls, and compliance projects within a fast‑paced team. You will assist with risk assessments, IT audits, data analysis, and client deliverables under supervision.

This internship offers exposure to multiple industries, hands‑on training with analytics and AI tools, and the chance to develop professional licenses while balancing school commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, MIS or related field.
• Pursuit of CPA, PMP, CISA, CIA, CISSP, CAMS, CISM or similar license preferred.
• GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Document and assess client operations, processes, systems, controls and programs.
• Assist with risk assessments for enterprise, operational and third‑party risk management.
• Support internal audit plans including IT audits.
• Obtain and analyze data, identify trends and visualize results using analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with team and clients to improve processes and controls.
