Job summary

Qualifications

  • 4 years' experience in data analysis and information reporting.
  • 1 year leadership and/or supervisory experience
  • Experience with negotiation, decision making, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical and reporting tools and healthcare data sets to produce insights that improve the division's business.
  • Oversee large-scale medical record retrieval operations and data processing.
  • Coordinate with internal partners and external vendors to support risk adjustment programs.
  • Develop the team’s analytical capabilities and knowledge of analytical methods and statistics.

Job Summary

As a member of the Risk Adjustment Execution & Enablement team, this position is responsible for managing analytical and reporting tools and healthcare data sets to produce valuable insights that improve the quality of the division's business. This role will gain a deep understanding of medical records, claims, and eligibility data in order to plan, manage, and control the activities of a team of analysts that provide reporting, insights, and analytics in support of division data needs. The position is accountable for leading large-scale medical record retrieval operations, overseeing the storage, movement, processing, and analysis of high-volume healthcare data, and coordinating efforts with internal partners and external vendors to support risk adjustment programs. This leader will develop the team's analytical capabilities, impart knowledge of analytical methods, research, and statistics used in quantitative data analysis, identify opportunities to leverage new data sets, tools, and methodologies, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to build and sustain strong relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor and 3 years' experience in presenting analytic results/insights to audiences at different levels OR 6 years analytics experience;
  • 4 years' experience in data analysis and information reporting;
  • 1 years leadership and/or supervisory experience
  • Experience with negotiation, decision making, organizational, and analytical skills;
  • Interpersonal skills including but not limited to verbal and written communication;
  • PC experience to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • SQL, SAS and Teradata or other reporting tools / languages experience.
  • Initiative to solve complex problems; takes an outside in perspective to identify innovative solutions.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics.
  • Experience working with the Medicare, Part D Prescription Drug, Medicare Advantage Programs, or ACA
  • Experience with healthcare data, including medical records, claims, eligibility data, and PHI.
  • Knowledge of ACA and/or Medicare Advantage (MA) Risk Adjustment.
  • Experience with medical record retrieval and healthcare data operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and querying large datasets.
  • Experience with Teradata and Alteryx.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with large-scale data storage, processing, and file management.

Locations: Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX

Schedule: This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range

$102,000.00 - $184,300.00
