Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Risk Adjustment Supervisor to lead the coding team, ensuring accurate HCC coding and CMS data validation. You will supervise daily activities, coach staff, and drive training initiatives while maintaining compliance with evolving Medicare guidelines.

The role requires a coding credential (AAPC/AHIMA) and 2+ years of HCC coding experience, along with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Active coding credential through AAPC or AHIMA required (CRC preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience related to HCC coding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Risk Adjustment Coding Specialists daily and monitor quality.
• Hire, interview, onboard, and discipline staff as needed.
• Provide preceptor guidance and ongoing staff training.
• Audit coding work for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure adherence to guidelines and policies.
• Counsel staff to meet performance requirements.
• Develop workflows and policies to support initiatives.
• Lead workgroups and manage project deliverables.
• Analyze MRA data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide regular status reports to Risk Adjustment Manager.
