Qualifications

• Must possess AAPC or AHIMA CCS/CPC certification; CRC is a plus.
• 3+ years risk adjustment coding or billing experience.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of work time.

Responsibilities

• Review and code diagnostic data to meet CMS Risk Adjustment requirements and educate providers.
• Perform coding abstraction and audits to ensure ICD-10-CM codes are supported.
• Interact with physicians to clarify documentation and coding policies.
