Qualifications

• ICD-10 coding: 3+ years
• Medicare risk adjustment coding: 3+ years
• Prospective and concurrent risk adjustment retrospective review: 2+ years
• Provider education - 1+ year experience
• Outpatient Primary Care coding: 1+ year
• CPC/CPMA/CRC/CCS-P/CCS/RHIA or RHIT certification required

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to confirm codes are supported and compliant
• Conduct pre-visit and post-visit audits with providers
• Educate physicians and staff on coding policies and documentation
• Meet daily production and 95% accuracy targets
• Visit providers onsite to give education and feedback
