Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is looking for an Assistant Project Manager in Richmond, Virginia. The APM will play a vital role in assisting project managers across various projects and managing smaller projects independently. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, managing documents, and ensuring project goals are met within time and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, along with five years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. The role may involve 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 5 years of applicable experience in project management.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Experience managing cross-discipline project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with various project efforts.
• Manage Contractors' submittals and compliance.
• Assist with project controls and cost reporting.
• Close out contract and project documentation.

Skills

High proficiency using Microsoft Office

Education
