Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories, parent to Haggar, seeks an early-career Associate Technical Designer for the Men's Pants team in Dallas. Recent grads or designers with 1–2 years' experience will learn fit, pattern, construction, and product data in a large, global operation.

You will work with Technical Design, Design, Product Development, Sourcing, and factories, gaining hands-on development and guidance from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or related field.
• Recent graduate or 1–2 years in apparel technical design, product development, or pattern making.
• Foundational understanding of garment construction, measurements, specifications, fit, and pattern-making principles.
• Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel, with an interest in becoming an advanced user.
• Strong organization, accuracy, curiosity, and follow-through.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Support garment fittings by preparing samples, capturing fit observations, measuring garments, and documenting corrections.
• Evaluate development samples for measurements, fit, construction, sewing quality, trims, and overall product execution under guidance.
• Translate styling intent into technical direction in collaboration with Design and Product Development.
• Follow issues through resolution and escalate questions or risks when guidance is needed.
