Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an experienced Store Operations Manager to supervise customer service teams and front-end/ pharmacy operations. You will support the Store Manager to hit company objectives, recruit and develop staff, and ensure strong store performance.

The role requires leadership across both retail and pharmacy functions, with responsibility for scheduling, compliance, and customer experience. A degree or equivalent managerial training is preferred, and flexibility for extended hours

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related Walgreens internship program; or high school diploma with supervisory experience.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and business acumen.
Completion of LEAP training or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks.
Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
Flexibility for extended days, evenings, and weekend hours; willingness to relocate for promotion.

Responsibilities

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end and pharmacy operations.
Supports Store Manager to achieve company deliverables and oversees scheduling and coverage.
Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of team members.
Analyzes financial and performance data to drive store improvements and growth.
Ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Mentors staff, provides training, and develops succession plans for future leaders.
