Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. You will support scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for projects of basic complexity, working under close supervision with project managers and teams.

You will assist in data collection, cost validation, and development of time-phased forecasts, while applying Earned Value Management and basic financial analyses to inform project decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0 years experience minimum; equivalent additional related experience considered.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency depends on duties.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and regulations; updates project data and cost baselines.
• Maintains and analyzes integrated critical path schedules for routine projects.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and drafts client/internal status reports.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documentation.
