Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. You will support schedule, budgeting, forecasting, and project performance analyses for projects of basic complexity.

Typical duties include gathering progress data, updating baselines, generating earned value reports, and maintaining project documentation. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, and familiarity with Primavera and EcoSys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience accepted; equivalent related experience considered.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies including budgeting, scheduling, control and assurance concepts.
• Proficiency with Primavera and EcoSys is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and gathers progress data to update schedule, cost, and resource forecasts.
• Develops time‑phased cost and resource forecasts and validates project costs.
• Generates earned value reports and discusses observations with project team.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documents.
• Performs other duties as required.
