CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings foundational project controls knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 0 years of experience may be considered with equivalent related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for federal contract work.
• Strong skills in schedule, cost, and resource forecasting and EVMS.

Responsibilities

• Gathers project progress information and updates schedule dates, percent complete, resource requirements and project accruals.
• Develops time‑phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and performs earned value reporting.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documents.
