Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking an Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager in Atlanta. The role focuses on obtaining, evaluating, and distributing information to keep projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will support site operations and liaise with clients, partners, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. The APM learns to manage documentation, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and owner reporting while growing toward leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction
• Experience on commercial job sites preferred
• Strong communication, integrity, and teamwork
• ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards
• Ensure documentation is filed
• Assist in budgeting for all assigned projects
• Develop pre-construction RFP package
• Assist in project meetings and owner reporting
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications and change orders
• Update project schedule and QC, logistics
• Assist in closeout process
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team
