Job summary

Leidos Digital is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support the National Digital Exploitation & OSINT Center (NDOC) at the Intelligence Community Campus in Bethesda, MD. This on-site role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data center networks with a strong emphasis on security and reliability.

You'll work with Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst devices, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and use ServiceNow and SolarWinds to track incidents, changes, and performance

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure data center networks.
• Hands-on with Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst devices and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, HSRP, SNMP, and multicast.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and network monitoring like SolarWinds and NetBox.
• Knowledge of firewall rules, ACLs, VPNs, and secure remote access.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data center networks.
• Plan and sustain LAN/WAN infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Configure Cisco devices (ACI, Nexus, Catalyst) and load balancers.
• Manage connectivity between servers, storage, and virtual environments.
• Use ServiceNow, SolarWinds, NetBox, and PRTG to track health and incidents.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for network issues.
