Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager I to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in Oklahoma. You will work with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The role offers hands-on experience in construction management with exposure to planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, site inspections, safety compliance, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project management and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, material deliveries, and equipment installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices throughout the construction process.
• Monitor work progress and productivity to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship, materials, and finished products meet project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection records, and change orders.
• Prepare and distribute reports to project management and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors regarding construction activities, schedules, and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with project management and other stakeholders to address project issues, concerns, and changes in a timely manner.
