Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York State.
• Valid New York State Driver License at time of appointment and to maintain position.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned misdemeanor cases and assist senior prosecutors on felony matters.
• Appear in court for prosecutorial proceedings and hearings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for pretrial proceedings.
• Manage discovery in accordance with CPL Article 245 requirements.
• Address legal issues presented by the public or arise in assigned cases.
